Low-fidelity, Improvised synth / guitar / rhythm-box material from the early eighties. Recorded straight to cassette, then overdubbed on a modified cassette deck. The savvy reader/listener might notice certain song titles were scammed from Oblique Strategies cards.

"8.81 - 1.83" was offered as a 90-minute cassette by mail in spring 1983, supposedly limited to 100 (there's quite a few left, since you asked) and found some attention on the tape trading network via OP, CLEM and Sound Choice, etc.

Paul's currently compiling and editing further cassette material from 1984 through 1988, and working on new music.

Ashby is joined by Steve Dobey, Mr. Dave, and John Ashby.
